Just back from my WM this morning. My Russian Military issued Naval Aviators single button chronograph chronometer, at 52 mm diameter it's a beast.
Made somewhere in the 50's is my guess.
It's going to get a lot of wrist time from me that's for sure.
The seller described it as a real conversation starter and he is absolutely right it looks amazing on the wrist.
The lug details and shape plus the boldness of the pushers and crown give such a Gothic look, I have zero regret s on this purchase.
I can't work out if it's a silver case or just plated but it's virtually unmarked. Do the Russians use hall marks on their silver?
I never, ever, wear this. It languishes at the bottom of the sock drawer - don’t suppose it’s seen daylight in 12-18 months - and yet here it is, running perfectly
A tired, but interesting Lanco today. Bought this many years ago at a pawn shop and only recently got around to have it repaired and serviced. There is a long line of projects in the drawer... 😵💫
