El Primero Manufacture, this watch is a masterpiece chronograph, it makes my other chrono looks cheap in comparison.

Finally after 4 months with the watchmaker, he meets his twin brother!

The hard part will be to decide which one will make it to the sales room!

After ten years of neglect, Dad's '65 Seiko Sea Lion . . .



. . . is back on my wrist. The previous watchmaker that serviced it missed his calling as a butcher. Two jewels, a spring, and the shock absorber were missing. Fortunately my current watchmaker trained at Seiko in the '60s and had all the parts to bring it back to life.

Dad wore it forty years with precisely one service over that stretch. This is the third service since he handed it down in '04.

When it comes to the professionals who take care of us, I put watchmakers ahead of all except physicians. They're invaluable.
