I found a chrome plated Croton from 1960s with beautiful glossy black dial but highly tarnished hands. My watchmaker swapped in Mercedes hands (apologies to the purists). Now it's a fun watch.

Limited Edition Speedmaster. They actually made two sets of 500. Back in the mid/late 1980s. I added the 1450 Omega bracelet. I thought it paired nice given the bracelet is from 80s.

i don’t for a moment imagine any of you were wondering, following my previous post, which of my twin Hamiltons I opted to wear.

Well, this one was both repaired and serviced, so I thought I’d test drive it for a bit.

That was a hec of a catch pristine and interesting shape on the dial they deserve much more respect
