My DIY build…Seiko powered diver with date and hacking movement. Got this as a Christmas gift and spent the afternoon assembling. Got it done with a little help from my son. Great experience and actually quite an attractive watch.

Damn my wife asked me if I wanted a silver or gold watch for Christmas. I knew there was a catch as she thinks I have a enough watches. I said “silver” as I’m not really into PM watches. So she put several of these in my stocking, I guess I need to make my own watch. I’m now wishing I said gold. Anyway wearing my festive mesmerizing seiko until I start the last bit of painting.
