Piepan this morning.
Last night, armed with binoculars and my 8" telescope if necessary, I tried to find that Leonid comet that's below Venus these days. No luck. My horizon sky is way too light polluted.
But while I was at it, I snapped some amateurish shots of the nicely lined up planets
Venus which, as bright as it is in the sky, is actually just a thin crescent right now.
Jupiter
Over exposed Jupiter to capture the 4 Galilean moons (all on one side by coincidence)
The always lovely Saturn
And as I turned around, the rising, nearly full moon.
