Piepan this morning.

Last night, armed with binoculars and my 8" telescope if necessary, I tried to find that Leonid comet that's below Venus these days. No luck. My horizon sky is way too light polluted.

But while I was at it, I snapped some amateurish shots of the nicely lined up planets
Venus which, as bright as it is in the sky, is actually just a thin crescent right now.

Jupiter

Over exposed Jupiter to capture the 4 Galilean moons (all on one side by coincidence)

The always lovely Saturn

And as I turned around, the rising, nearly full moon.

All pics are to scale by the way (except the Piepan 😜). YaY!

This beautiful panda sports some serious Heuer DNA - 1969 Tradition Chronograph - Valjoux 7733. These were sold by Sears Roebuck & Co. and manufactured by Heuer.

Back from Omega after some rework on a service. Not bad for a 22-year companion. 🥰 One of my desk diving scratches is too deep to polish out. Yes, they polished the case. No, I don’t think it’s ruined. 😎

Planning to wear the new 3861 all week. Got it back on the bracelet after a (somewhat) successful strap change. I actually find the bracelet on this to attach easier than the previous version…good news since I tend to swap out strap frequently!

The Submariner 14060M which hasn’t seen much wrist time this past year and none since I got the Glashütte Original SeaQ. It’s still rather nice though 🥰
