I don’t wear this anymore because it’s running fast and doesn’t want to regulate. The watch costs more to service than to buy new. It has some sentimental value because I wore it overseas on one of my deployments, so I can’t toss it.

Wow! I have the exact same one, bought it a couple of weeks ago, came with the original strap too!
Beautiful example. Usually the lugs on these old cursive Geneves are polished to death, the chamfers are long gone, and the dials are usually a mess. It's very hard to find these in good original condition -- harder than to find a nice pie pan Constellation in my view -- so congrats!

Bit early in the morning and can't sleep so so might as well give into the inevitable. Bought this on Friday and it arrived yesterday.

Some watches try hard in their execution with real effort being put into the design and quality of materials, not sure that this is one of them.

Different yes but better, I will give it the benefit of the doubt.
It is certainly contemporary and may fit some of the younger generation but I suspect my sense of application of quality, refinement execution are a little more developed.

I was hoping to get some feedback from those who actually have a “fashion sense” and pay attention to like colors matching and stuff. I got this band for my ultraman Waltham (safe queen don’t mind the big scratch on the crystal I ignore) because it matches the second hand but I don’t like wearing things that yell unless they have a Grateful Dead skull and are in tie dye of course. Does this set up make any sense? It’s not really big enough to be spotted from the air during a search and rescue or to let hunters know I’m human and not a deer or other things hunters shoot if I’m hiking.

Absolutely, IMO. It's a pop of color. Great pairing.
