I had two wisdom teeth pulled in the mid 1960s. The job was done by a dental surgeon as the teeth were impacted, and had to be removed in pieces! The job took an hour. The charge was $60.00! When I paid the bill, I thought to myself that I was in the wrong business! My, how things change! My wife recently had a root canal, and the bill was $1,500.00, plus the fee of the referring dentist!

You could buy a brand new car for $1500 back then.

Bought this circa ‘58 14k manual Omega in 2003 (for $273.88)! Was really taken by the decorative engine turned bezel and I wore it for a few years. Took it out today and now feeling nostalgic!!

It's Halloween here already in New Zealand but I can't find any Halloween themed watches in my collection unless of course you count the large number that have been brought back from the dead!
So I guess this less spooky watch will have to do.

so in those immortal words of Monty Python

" Bring out your dead. Bring out your dead"

Alternatively your Halloween watches.
