Is that a Piper Cub on floats?

Great eye Chief! So I was on an overnight in Orlando on Wednesday…rented a car and went down to Jack Browns Seaplane base in Winterhaven to get an intro flight. My copilot has the rating and he wanted to go for a tune up…awesome experience and fantastic school. Highly recommend!

STOT for a rainy evening!

Thanks to my OCD, I maintain a compilation of these modern turtles. 🤨 Time to share! 😜 😜

What did they update on the SRPEs? It looks like they added the (controversial) lume plot at 3 on some (777 update) but not others (775 update)…?

Just bought this earlier today, it was an unexpected purchase from my Watch Maker who had it in his personal collection but after servicing it he found it too big for his smaller wrists, been on mine ever since.....Tomorrow it might be a different story as I am expecting a Seiko Desk Diver to arrive in the post.

I had only gone there to drop off 2 Enicars for him to see what he could do for them and hadn't intended to purchase this watch but I was intrigued by it on first sight with its distinctive style and size plus the highly finished Citizen 4500 movement.

24 mm across the lugs tapering down to 20 mm at the clasp, 42 mm diameter, 46 mm including winder it has great presence.

The bezel is fixed and outer indices are randomly black painted which appears a bit odd but looking at other new examples this seems to be normal, cant find to many examples online this does appear to be a bit rare.

Unusual lume with blue hands and green indices.

Photos dont do it justice any marks are just smudges on the watch case and glass this watch is pretty much in as new condition.

Hi! The caseback inscriptions changed from Air Diver's 200m to Diver's Watch 200m so to me that alone earns them new spots on the chart. And then, yes, the lume at 3 appears to be a transitional feature. We know for a fact that the black E93 went from not having it, to having it. So far I've found images for E93, E99, and F15 with that lume, but I suspect that over time updated images for E89, E91, E95, and F13 will surface.

This morning I am ending 35 years of procrastination and going to get 3 wisdom teeth pulled. 🙁 But wearing this, so 😀 !
