Roamer today, I like the gold of the indices in contrast to the case, as far as I can tell its original as the previous owner was likely to have told me if not.
I found this on a local auction site and for the sake of completeness for my collection I bid on it as I didnt have this particular Roamer model, more so than I liked the look of it.
When I picked it up from its original and only owner it transpired he had a strong connection to one of my uncles ( now passed) so I had a long chat to him and his wife. This added connection to the watch has made it more attractive in my eyes, some times with collecting its more about the journey and the story that goes with it than the actual prize at the end.

Hi guys, Sante Castignani new entry… 🥰 Love it.
Interesting 😀
But how do you tell what time it is?
In your two photos it’s either 10.25 or 12.35?

It tells the time working on 12 minutes every small silver circle… I mean, small circle 12 minutes and big circle are the common hours…
In the wrist’s shot 16:30 (more or less), other shot 19:55 (more or less)…
And I really love that “more or less” in my life… 😜 A sort of “soul hour”… ::rimshot::
