That’s a good looking speedy, is that a 2500 series? I always like the chrome vs the colored bezels.

This isnt a moon watch it’s a speedy automatic date. Darn embarrassed to say I forget the ref# off hand I need to look at the card. You can usually find some pretty good deals on them although I think they have gone up a bit since I got it. Not the reduced just the regular auto movement

2852/505 at an all-day meeting.
Bought with a broken seconds hand. The available replacement hand is riveted, which the original was not. Got an un-riveted cal. 1010 seconds hand that could be fitted.

Bought it NOS on eBay a few years ago, loved it and wore it all the time.

Then, the love faded and the watch languished in my sock drawer.
