I was going to wear my mundane speedy today but my wife told me it was going to be “pouring rain all day.” For whatever reason she was messing with me cause it’s a clear sunny day. I think she just likes to see me geek out over which watch I’m wearing that day like I’m making some really serious decision. I guess I’d find it funny if I stood outside myself and watch. 2 seconds to pick out my clothes five minutes for my watch that is kinda stupid come to think of it.
anyway grabbed a few guys for an early hike nice day for one

·After a bout 10 days of wearing an orphan 1950s vintage bumper automatic (I am always surprised my well it runs when I wear it), it was time for a change.
I bought the subject Speedmaster reduced 31 years ago. It was pre-owned, and came with a fugly brown Omega strap which (it occurs to me) was not leather. I hated it from the beginning. So I bought a stainless Steel Omega bracelet for it, which has been on it for most of those 31 years. Today, I decided to see what it looked like with leather. Brown didn’t do it, what with the black dial. So I fitted a black shark skin strap to it. I rather like the look. This watch is stainless steel, with 18-karat bezel, and rose gold sub dials.
