it has the Helvetia head hallmark and the hammer head hallmark n°141 corresponding to Gabus Freres Oracier SA, Le Locle.
How would you know if it is a Jeanneret?

How would you know if it is a Jeanneret?
Well, the Gabus Freres did a great job there - it's beautiful. After some scrambling around my archives, I think I had a recollection of a much-loved IWC Cal 88 with Henri Jeanneret case. That a was a very long time ago, as this very small and rough (sorry) picture testifies. But it was clearly the powerful way the lugs flow on to the bezel that was the trigger - a great design motif!
