This Soviet era Luch is too dressy for shorts and a Grateful Dead shirt, but I work from home so I do what I want. I’m still charmed by it.

Edit: I wanted to thank @wagudc again for posting this watch in the Star Trek thread. I was instantly enthralled and glad I was able to find one in great condition.

Enjoying a glorious holiday touring Scotland with the De Ville for company and an Elgin picked up along the way 😀

Ah yes! A holiday in Scotland! I fondly remember several of them! Glencoe, the Jacobite Steam Train, Glenfinnan viaduct, the islands, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness, Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, Glenfarclas Scotch Whisky distillery in the Spey Valley, too many memories to list. My favourite picture from the one trip was Glencoe.

Never thought Pokemon Go would be part of my life but my 7 year old finally convinced me to download the app so she can play with her friends from class. Turns of there is a Poke Store 200 meters from where we live, where she could get some more Pokeballs and candy 😵‍💫

Our son arrived today, which was 5 weeks and 1 day before his due date. Both he and mom are doing quite well, all things considered. I used my Speedy to time the contractions until things really got rolling. At that point, I focused all my attention on supporting her. She was an absolute champ. No pain meds at all. Childbirth is an absolutely amazing thing to witness.

Congratulations, great news about Mum and child!

While some may scoff at my submission, this was my favorite watch of the mid-80s. I had at least two that came and went but when I learned that Timex had re-issued the Atlantis 100 in Japan earlier this year, I had to import one. Lightweight, comfortable and readability is on point.

No scoff on my end. If you like it, it's cool.
Enjoy!
