4 screw "clamshell" designed case back kept this 1948 dial in pristine condition. It's as close to perfectly "patinated" as any i've seen under a 10x loupe. Not sure why more watch designers didn't take advantage of this bullet proof design. This is a Cheap-O watch but looks like a million bucks (InMyHumblestOpinion).

My friend wrote the song "Hot Shot" for which he earned a gold record in 1978. In July of that year when "Hot Shot" hit Number 1, he acquired this 14k gold pave diamond Omega watch. Surprised how much i enjoyed it on my wrist 馃榿

Tried this on at a GTG. It's not quite my cup of tea but these MB&F thingies have this undefinable kookiness to them. I can see why some find them attractive.
