A really moving experience for those who can visit in person. I've been there twice myself. I also dropped my younger son off at college last weekend and returned with my wife to an empty nest. Is your son at Gettysburg College?
Yes, my son is a Gettysburg. I too am returning home to my wife and an empty nest tonight (well, returning to two dogs and three cats left behind by the three sons who have evacuated)…next chapter in life…long time coming yet, somehow, it seems to have come too quickly. Is your son at Gettysburg also?
I’m a total fan of the bracelet that came with the Glashütte Original but had to try it on a couple of nato’s.

Turned cool here in the Northeast. A nice break from 95F with 98% humidity. I broke out a long sleeve yellow Harley shirt and one of my 2 remaining gold toned watches just seemed right for it. Sometimes you don't need more than 32mm, or to be cool in SS or wear 4K worth of hyrology on your wrist. You can just enjoy the slim presence of the little vintage America watch, so light.....like you are wearing almost nothing at all. And this is truly "vintage on a budget", as I have less than $1.40 U.S. in the combination of watch and new strap from a local wholesale discount chain that sells merchandise it bought from bankrupt and damaged companies.
Probably we should start a new thread like “truly vintage on a budget” with that ELGIN? What should be a price limit / rhres
