I felt a bit bad. I was stuck in this traffic jam couldn’t get back to the office I really needed to leave at 4p so I was just thinking how the traffic was impacting me. I just needed to pick up one document from someone. Anyway made it to the cause of the back up and saw a poor dude laying in the street bleeding. Bicyclist hit by a car.
Felt pretty damn small at the moment. Made it through, got the document hit the park for a bit for a stroll let the emergency services do what they needed to do. Big deal it was 4p I had stuff to do but I’m sure that poor guy laying in the street bleeding was on his way somewhere. So it’s 6:20 I just got home woe is me right. Damn I hate that mental small ball
Will the mystery watch please sign in! I took a gamble on this one, but I think that it’s going to pay off. eBay seller from England who knew very little about the watch, including the reference number, but I decided to take a chance. Slight dial damage around the 3 o’clock mark, but otherwise in fine shape. I think that the dial furniture is rose gold. Crystal needs a little polishing. Beautiful stainless steel case with a press in case back and teardrop shaped lugs that I haven’t seen on an Omega before. All the edges and chamfers look sharp. Winds up smoothly, sets, and runs just fine, but I’ll be sending it to my watchmaker for a tuneup. Anybody know this reference? I’m guessing that it’s from the 1945-1955 timeframe, but really not sure, and I’m going to leave it to my watchmaker to open it and solve the mystery.
