Jettisoning the heft of tool watches today for something that feels virtually weightless by comparison. Circa mid-1960s….handsomely sculpted, IMHO…and nearly impossible for someone of my limited photographic skills to accurately capture….in most light the dial appears black but, in fact, is a very deep midnight blue.

I have been searching for a ladder bracelet for my Striking 10th since I acquired it. @Forstnerbands nailed it.

I won’t be wearing it today, but I have one. Thirty years old this year. This model is the first Speedmaster to introduce the sapphire back….back in 1980. Wearing my 50 year old Rolex Air-King Date, instead.

I tried one for the first time today. I like yours better and have cash! Hint hint! Here is the pic of the one I tried on.

@Duracuir1 ,

I’m pleased that you like my Speedmaster! I’ll give you dibs on it if it should ever be offered for sale. But I am honour bound to not sell it as my Missus bought it for me.

The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls, and tenement halls

still wearing this. Being cautious to stay 300m away from water seems kinda dumb but that’s what it says. There is a blue heron that nests down here. He’s a bit of a local attraction I’ve only seen him once so far this year but he/she is a master at blending in.

AnOrdain on a mesh. Back to work.

Talk about photo composition!

That's an award winner somewhere. ;-)
