Alas...mine is a lowly NH35A.
But over a year and a half of wearing it for construction and demo and I haven't managed to kill it yet!
I think the rubber strap suits it well too.

I gave each of my three sons an Invicta ref. 8926ob when they were teenagers. Between them they have managed to total a car, break a back, break fingers and hands, break collar bones, suffer several concussions, require multiple stitches, etc., etc., etc.. To steal a line from Cameron Swazyze and Timex, my sons and their Invictas took a licking and kept on ticking. The ref. 8926ob is an "honest" watch and a very good value proposition, IMHO. The Seiko NH35A which powers it has proven itself very dependable.

Just got this one in a few days ago, and while it's not 100% in the 'keeper' section yet; I've got to say, it wears pretty dang nice, even on my ham-hock wrist! 😁

Hamilton Pilot Pioneer (on aftermarket vintage leather I added):

Well...quite a few other watches like Unimatic use the movement...I don't know if they adjust it to their specs but there must be something they find valuable in it.

Just finished the 45th bday present to myself. Or as I call it looks expensive on a budget.
Happy birthday…. Very cool Seiko..

New spring bars (females ending both side) and new (slightly bigger) crown, now winding much smoothely!
Was waiting for all that to be solved to wear it again, happy to have it on my wrist again ;-)

The 90s called. They want their watch back.

I love the juxtaposition of the 90's department store watch on a 1995 issue of The Robb Report. I'm definitely left wondering about having a 27 year-old magazine lying about the house.
