One of 21 watches that arrived today.
Was sold as not going but it works beautifully.
I was curious about the brand and even google threw up almost no results for the brand or model number, Owix Eastmaster 25 jewel automatic.
I took the back off to see what's inside and was almost blinded by a super clean highly polished and brushed rose gold plated ETA2452 movement, my first words were " WOW you've got to see this " to my wife sitting close by.
It's got a great beat to the ticking but even so his will be getting a full service soon and new glass, I am so pleased I bought this watch, cost me next to nothing at auction, just $10.00.

Trying out some mesh but suspect it will be back on leather before the day is out.

Will take a photo after it has been serviced, I haven't yet worked out how to get the expander that's currently on it apart / off and its so filled with gunge from previous owners arm / environmental crap that I don't want to risk crud falling back into the movement whilst manoeuvring it for photos.
But yeah photos are a must, shame they didn't go in for exhibition casebacks in the day!

One of the other stars in my haul of watches today is this Citizen, in the past I had bypassed them nose in air but after a recent Citizen purchase that really ticked a few boxes in terms of style and dial colour I jumped on this second similarly themed one which I am sure will scrub up very well.

It has come with the original Citizen strap, clasp and crown as well, other than a reluctance to change the day via the crown ( it does work when running) though my WM assures me that this problem usually resolves with a service so that and a new lens will see this SS cased watch looking like new soon.

Here is last weeks post serviced purchase to compare, similar but not identical.
