·Time to put the Accutron away, and choose another watch. I don’t remember the last time I wore my Rolex Date-Just. It has been months. I bought this one new, at dealer cost, when I worked for a Rolex dealer in 1989. So it is 32 years old this year. In that span of time, I have serviced it 4 times. Once when the original mainspring broke. This one averages about -13 seconds in a month. I could improve on that, but I won’t bother until the next time I service it. My all time favourite Rolex dial with applied Roman numerals. And, no, it is NOT a re-dial!
