When the rain comes they run and hide their head

been a long time since I’ve worn this but it’s a nice simple Hamilton I got a good deal on. May need to change it as looks like the rain could get serious today but I really like this

My shiny-dialed, gold surround indexed, ceramic bezeled, rehaut engraved, mis-proportionally cased, sapphire crystalled, artificially scarcified, no cyclopsed Rolex 214060. And overpriced to boot!

Love it ... HAGD All! 😎

Was the Sunday-morning-go-to-meeting choice earlier. So comfy that it's the afternoon slouching-in-cutoff-jeans and T-shirt choice now.

Time to put the Accutron away, and choose another watch. I don’t remember the last time I wore my Rolex Date-Just. It has been months. I bought this one new, at dealer cost, when I worked for a Rolex dealer in 1989. So it is 32 years old this year. In that span of time, I have serviced it 4 times. Once when the original mainspring broke. This one averages about -13 seconds in a month. I could improve on that, but I won’t bother until the next time I service it. My all time favourite Rolex dial with applied Roman numerals. And, no, it is NOT a re-dial!

Well, it's not for sale, but you're getting honorary dibs anyways. If it goes, it's gotta go to a good home!

Messing with this. Cut off the gastly blue rubber gasket around the side to reveal some coolness underneath. Bezel wouldn’t move before as the blue rubber was jamming it up. Quite surprised.
