Take a sad song and make it better


I like bright dials on days the doldrums hit. Heard a really sad story yesterday that messed my head up so it was time for the baby blue seiko. Took someone to the food bank and they loaded up with 500lbs of I don’t even know what is in this mess, of course I gotta carry it for them but they had a big smile when I left so it’s all good

Green Saint Augustine grass in the second half of July, in west central Texas no less! Cooler temperatures and more frequent rains requires more frequent lawn mowing chores.

Am being grateful for blessings.

Excuse the double shot today it’s a public service announcement. I need to be vague but I’m just leaving the hospital (not for me) the gentleman I checked on told me he is in the Hospital as his “leg hurts” I just had a sit down with his doctor and found things are so much worse than just his leg it’s actually frightening me. I was just with this guy 6 days ago we were talking about watches and hiking. OMG things can change so quick. Neither he nor his wife fully understand how bad things are and it just fell on me to explain it to them. I swear to god cherish everyday as it is mind blowing how quickly things can change

Walrus, you deserve a large measure of empathy as well as a gratefully proferred "atta-boy" for the job you do in your profession and the difference you are making in people's lives.
