·I thought I might join the legion of those exhibiting Speedmasters, in honour of it being Speedy Tuesday, and the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. I opened the vault to retrieve a Speedmaster, and this one winked at me! 😉 An Accutron from about 1971, so it’s about 50 years old. I’m guessing at the vintage, because the case back is a replacement, and the date letter might be wrong. The fumed dial seems correct for that era. Kind of a distinctive look, I feel.
