Bought the Glashütte Original SeaQ a week ago tomorrow and I have worn it ever since, except for a trip to the beach, where I wore my Seiko “Arnie” re-issue.

The SeaQ is simply magnificant and it is definitely my favourite watch purchase ever.

And yesterday fishing for crabs using chicken nuggets as baid. The crabs loves it 😁

New brown racing strap. I like it, but I’m also fickle.

Old Minerva "fat pushers" chronograph with Minerva 13-20 movement

I really like that they inverted the 6
Can't do THAT with Arabic numerals!

Doing "ranch management" and garden sitting earlier this evening on Speedy Tuesday while some friends are out of town.

We get the pickin's for the effort.

And a tomato face (from our own garden).

This just back from my WM.
Fresh service, new lens, set lever and crown wheel.
The transformation compared to what it looked like when I got it last week is stunning, I couldn't be happier.
Wet raining overcast day here and I cant get a decent photo but the dial, indices and hands look like new.
Shame that the casing has a lot of brassing but to tell the truth when you are wearing it you don't notice as your eyes are just drawn to that deeply black dial and its golden markers.
Luckily I had a new strap sitting around that seems to fit it, was wanting a black leather or a gold bracelet but for the moment this looks good and I can get some wrist time with it while I decide which other strap I might want for it.

And for a before view.

Visited some friends in the Sacramento area today and stopped by the State Capitol for a quick pic.

What a lovely building.

Sadly, our utilitarian local Civic Centre in Brent suffers (badly) by comparison
