·Back from camping, and parked the “sacrificial” Seiko until the next time. Back to collectible watches. I haven’t shown this one for a while. My late ‘60s Gruen day/date. Unique in a way, in that it has a manually wound movement, not an automatic as might be expected. This one I retrieved from the bottom of a musty box full of detritus. I’m glad I found it.
