Latest acquisition, within the past two months . . .

First appearance here, I think . . .

Late MC-12H "Snow White" housing an EP 40-68.

Pretty close to NOS?

I guess I too can get into the "a Gallet a day" groove . . .

And in natural light a couple days ago . . .

1964 Cotton Bowl Omega, 550 movement, cased with custom dial in the US by US distributor, I believe.

What do y’all think of the speckling? Should I worry about it and do something to stop it from further speckling (if so, what?)? Or is this normal and something not to worry about?

Congrats! Love those blued hands. Remind me of the Gallet Yachting I stupidly traded away. I am still trying to remedy that one.

Been keeping remarkable time for an unserviced 80 year old watch though there is a small scratch mark on the back meaning that some one has been in there in the distant past.

Vantage by Hamilton. Not sure the crown is original, but I have seen other examples pictured on the net with this crown and when I had this serviced last month, my watchmaker said the watch passed his waterproof test, so we decided to leave this crown. Also, in the early 70's, when this watch would have been produced, Hamilton would have been using what ever bits and pieces would have been laying around.....or so I have been told. Any way, I do love and enjoy this reverse panda, 37mm is just perfect on my wrist to my eye.

Thank you.

Well-executed blued hands vary interestingly in appearance as lighting conditions change . . . as you know and have experienced.

I am also fortunate to have these two:
