PP 6119R Just a couple of days now with this, but I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful and interesting "simple" Calatrava designs Patek has done in ages. I'll definitely have more I'll want to say about this piece as I live with it a lot longer, but I suppose my summary opinion of the dial and case are that they nailed balancing masculine/feminine elements. I have no doubt women will wear this watch, and maybe it's the age I'm at, but I thoroughly dig that! Hobnail gives a bit of bling, but honestly in person it's far less flash than you might think. If anything the hands and indices are really what catch light and sparkle. And just my opinion, but no one does rose gold like Patek. Full stop.
Finally able to use the GMT function after 16 month absence from traveling. Not the best picture of the watch but the surroundings are more impressive
Been wearing this all day after adjusting the period Fixo-Flex strap this morning. I only bought this very cheaply on a whim and was a little reluctant to get it a full service, lens and other parts but I am now glad I did. It will be seeing a lot more wrist time with its Fixo-Flex strap. I love the classic dress watch looks, classic style from a classic era.
