··Home For Wayward WatchesThis has been the rainiest, coolest, wackiest, Texas spring I've ever experienced. Mowed the lawn just before heading to Nashville to visit grandkids for a week. Returned to find the grass "hay-bailin'" high a week later. Gotta quit fooling around with WRUW photos and mow for it's looking like rain again this afternoon!

·A little heart warming was in order after another long week on the insane roads. What more can one ask? A Guinness and a GMT...
I would also like to take advantage of this post to make a little PSA. As many here know, I've been driving a heavy truck for a living the past 3 1/2 years. Unfortunately, I've witnessed many horrible accidents, some fatal, involving trucks and cars. Most avoidable. Too many motorists behave badly around us big, slow and bulky trucks. Cars never win....with disastrous consequences. Our vehicles are 40 tons. They don't handle like a Ferrari and don't brake like a Porsche. Think.....
Different analogy I know but same principle.
Size matters, be safe and enjoy the moment, there is enough space for all of us.
