What I always refer to as my workers watch, a real beater, everything is as it should be, nice swiss movement, yellowed plexi glass which I adore my WM suggested he would replace it, not on my life you wont was my response its a worker not a safe queen.

I just picked this piece up and while I find it beautiful, I’m having a hard time bonding with it. I love and have no problems with smaller watches- My favorite watch is 34mm. While I find the silver dial and white gold hands to be stunning, it’s incredibly difficult to read in typical California bright sun. This watch, however, really comes to life and sings around sunset. It’s piece that I both love but feel disconnected with and am currently figuring out what to do. I feel a bit silly being in this “dilemma” haha

Still raining here today, worst rain storms in at least 10 years with lots of flooding and civil emergencies being declared in several areas with evacuations going on all over the place so its another "waterproof" watch today

You could try it on a strap to dress it down a bit. Also, a smooth bezel would give you a different look and it already has an oyster.

I think some color would help. Maroon/navy blue shell cordovan would be amazing.

Beautiful Rolex, California sun... all a bit 'first world problems'. 😁

Lovely watch dude - I'd leave it exactly as it is. 👍
