I’ve been wearing my Keystone Howard series 4 (or 9) for the last month. This watch is ~110 years old. I have worn it more in the last 30 days than I had worn it since I acquired it about 35 years ago. This watch came to me virtually unused. My @DaveK lanyard has made this possible. The rolled gold plated Keystone case is like new. Case back has never been “deluxed”.
Am no fan of quartz watches, yet have had this Seiko since the late 1990s when a long suffering Mrs. Noelekal gave it to me as I was departing on a trans Atlantic trip so I would have a dependable watch. We'd both traveled in England and France a year or so before and she took a dim view of the vintage watch I was wearing that went haywire on that trip. I'm sentimentally attached to this quartz watch, the newest watch I own.
