First weekend off since February. First strap since 2020! For a friend’s Devil Diver. Still wearing the little Sky-Rocket.

This was my favorite deployment watch. It was with me in several middle eastern countries, carries a lot of memories, but it can’t carry the time anymore. I’ve tried regulating it, but it really needs servicing.

My first decent watch, purchased new while in a layover on Singapore back in 1992. For years, I kicked myself for getting a quartz watch and not an automatic, but I quite like it now.

My wife has the miniature version of that one.

This sort of use is contraindicated for your Sub
‘Contraindicated’, love that word - I haven’t come across it before 😀 😀

No, not a gold dial - just a silvered one reflecting that late afternoon sun

I enjoy wearing mine.
