·Wearing my latest addition and I’m so pleased with it. Some of these late 70s W10s wear the “battle scars” of good, honest wear. Others, like this one, look like they might have languished unloved in stores until flogged off by the MoD in a clearance sale 20 years ago. A light scratch and a few craze marks on the crystal were easily buffed out with polywatch and the dial looks pretty flawless. And it’s keeping to about +1 second a day (seller claims serviced last year; no reason to doubt that so far).

·Help! Save me! I am suffering a Quartz crisis, not only am I wearing one today I am looking at eBay to buy another Titanium Quartz Chrono (case and strap), whats come over me! Oh wait a minute, I just purchased two mechanical movements off eBay today and am looking at buying a stunning Auto Chronograph from elsewhere too ( wife's not too happy about that one), maybe its just a passing aberration.
Pour another cup of tea and I will come right soon.
PS if I get the auto chronograph there will be a lota pics and a good write up about the brand and history, fingers crossed.
