In Spring Lake I worked in a lumber mill converted to offices right next to the railroad. Google Earth shows me it's still there -- not Spring Lake's best aspect. The beaches all along there are hell in summer and wonderful in winter. Summer has too many bodies, winter has nobody. You can walk 10 miles down the beach to the Barnegat inlet from just south of Seaside Heights and see one other person on foot and maybe two FWDs. And if you are into birding, the whole of that coast down to the Delaware is unbelievable in the Fall Migration. Ahhh yes, there are worse places to live.....

Wow that is beautiful. I also have an Ocean Star that mostly gets ignored despite its beauty: I’m glad we finally shared them... I see we don’t even have a separate thread for these fine watches... Mido definitely deserves one!
