Just back from a fresh full service, but as you can see the lens needs replacing, has been polished but numerous microcracks throughout the lens from extreme edges to centre.

My WM will try and find a replacement as he hasn't got one in stock ( I have used all his old stock on other Roamers).

By Odin's beard that's the best preserved example i've ever seen,
i have a 166 027 and it's in a shocking state, to look at, but mechanically still only loses a few seconds a day

I love this one so much I was tempted to add a codicil to my will that I should be buried with it but, since I’m planning on a cremation ..... maybe not.

Anyone able to comment on the authenticity of the buckle? It’s an old purchase from an auction site.

Nice, a rare Deauville!
And in very nice condition! I said it before, but it has a sophisticated elegance when wearing it in the evening with a nice suit and all. Dial colour goes from blue to almost black depending on the light.

Buckle is a repro. Watch looks nice though!
