Wow!

Love it!

Congratulations!

One of the most amazing and pleasingly patinated dials I’ve ever seen... 🥰

Here’s my 40’s bumper cal with the same hands and Art Deco font:

Thank you for the kind words! Yours is an absolute stunner too. 😎

Have a lot of respect for your collection, so I appreciate the compliment. 👍

Finally pried the Tutima Flieger from my wrist as I’m off for a road bike ride. Chose this old beast. My first ‘decent’ watch, I bought this Tag Heuer 1000 in 1990.

Omega with amazing patina
I’ve seen some watches with unique patinas, but this one is a standout!

Getting ready for Speedy Tuesday on Monday. Also, no USMC vets heckled the USN vet regarding his semi-polished mil issued flight boots at the VA today...the USN vet was sort of upset because he likes to get heckled...so that he can heckle back...and make the USMC vets cry. 😁

Took some time to locate a nice one, but I found an authentic Omega 1175/640 flat link bracelet for my 1971 Speedy. Great bracelet. Much better construction than the 1039 and doesn’t have the rattling and the hair pulling of the 1171. How we lookin’?

Cold at Tokyo.
Time for the Polaris.
Love the seamless damacene
and complete matte finish of this series.
Ancient technique, contemporary design (Gerald Genta, 1980s)
Quite unique!

Are there more Polaris lovers out here...?!

Enjoy your “journey” today!
