Pick up earlier today. beautiful condition except a bit of corrosion on one winding wheel which I can sure as hell live with! , original case, perfect dial. Railroad grade 1926 Hamilton 992 Model 2, @DaveK and @Canuck made me do it!

Yeah Fritz, I have this strong feeling that those two as well as TexOmega are compelling me right through the internet to soon add pocket watches to the menagerie here.

The lure of the 'Khaki' got me again this evening 😀

Received a mail from 'Hamilton' today and I must admit I do like the look of this piece,

She’s having a wonderful Easter weekend with her cousin Griff.

I will see them both tomorrow, so I’ll have to include a pic of the sweet couple and ‘Snowflake’ 😜

14060, built like a tank, not a rare reference, but try find with Tritium, 2 liner, pierced lugs, sharp unpolished case, it will be different story

And the FADED GREY⚪️BLUE insert 😎

Wearing my daughter's high school colors today, blue and gold. Doesn't have any thing to do with the fact it goes with my sweater. LOL. Even though this watch is only about 32 mm, I feel it has decent wrist presence and is so light, thin, and easy to wear, about 5 mins ago, I honestly thought I had forgotten to put a watch back on after I had showered earlier.

By my reckoning, I have four minutes to spare to get today's watch in before it becomes tomorrow . . .

I really like this watch . . . and I went out of my way to choose the Mark XV, but alas, I do not give it much wrist time.

How do you like the cork strap? Where did you buy it? I have been curious about cork for some time, but have never had one.

I love the look and the feel, very comfy indeed.

Bought it off an Etsy seller for approx USD$35
