Thank you...The amazing thing, is I bought it as a full set from a dealer in Germany... When it arrived, according to the receipt, it had first been sold to a gentleman who lived a few miles away from where I was living as a kid...
Since @Mad Dog can show off his military foot wear, I figured I would do the same (although his were actually issued to him- I had to pay for my kicks).
Russet service shoe- rubber taps.
Still on Roamer rotation today, 44 jewel this time.
Bought another 44 jewel yesterday on a buy now in good working order, to good to wait for the auction process, will arrive next week. Not the one in this mornings image.
Apart from echoing @Omega1's comments on your watch, a question.
You have the date showing as 'Fri 03-25-21’, in the event that I should ever acquire a similar watch, is it possible to set the date to show the English way - 'Fri 25-03-21’?
This watch looks like it was made in 1967 (which it was).
A II-67 1008 with a matching gold and stainless steel 7205 riveted bracelet, marked 1-67.
I am surprised at how comfortable and legible it is. When I saw photos of this model, I thought it was a little too much. In person, I don’t feel that way anymore. I like it a lot.
It’s 34mm and looks like it wasn’t worn much. Those gold bezels with the fancy etching lose their sharpness pretty quick.
