·On the hunt. Not for a particular watch........I have already found the watch. I am on the hunt for a case back to fit the watch I found. Back is missing! Why, you might ask. Well, several years ago I posted a picture of a late 1940s or early 1950s Laco (NOT Lanco) that fell into my lap. This Laco has a German-made Durowe movement in it. I was recently digging through my stash looking for something else, when I stumbled on a private label wrist watch with the same Durowe movement in it. Mighta missed it, but since there was no case back........! Anyway, if and when I am able to complete this artifact, I’ll post it. In the meantime, here’s the Laco.
