Hi there,

Seiko 5, Automatic, 6119-8250
day-date (day in kanji),
charcoal sunburst dial, sometimes color of the dial changes to a dark grey-brownish tone.
build date: Dec. 1978
37mm
Yes, the acrylic crystal has a crack, but it’s the original one, though repolished.
One of my daily bangers I don’t need to be careful with.

Some impressive reflections off of the Chinese Airforce 1963 this evening...or could it just be the rum? (no other filters, I swear!)

very underrated watches, I must buy one next time I am back in China! but it will be a hard choice between the Peacock watch company in Shenyang and the Seagull watch, probably should buy both. ( I own an apartment in Shenyang so should do the patriotic thing lol).

Started the day with a Russian and ended it with a Japanese. My wife won't be happy! If you know your history reference to 18 9 31 that should be cryptic enough.

Gone with a sporty NATO to celebrate Test cricket’s long-awaited return to UK terrestrial TV. (England batting coach Graham Thorpe wears a Speedmaster, in case anyone cares.)

February in London; a bizarre weather cycle of rain, snow, cold interspersed with bright, warm sunny mornings 😕
