Day four of Omega Week finds straggling poppies in a flower bed ... in January! It's the Shameless Hussy today. I wear this redialed '59 Seamaster with 520 movement more often than I allow on here. Was a inexpensive eBay purchase from those innocent days prior to joining Omega Forums and learning more about redials. The redial comes off looking pretty good in person except for the style of the hands don't match the style of the dial. It's the only watch I have that elicits spontaneous comment from non-watch people who seem to think it's really something and will remark about it.
It is neither August nor Tuesday nor the 9th nor my hands as dry as they appear, nor the moon even waning, but still quite a handsome timepiece. A bit lazy this morning but I’ll get it all adjusted......
Yes, Dan Henry represents an excellent value in price and vintage vibe when you don't want to risk getting scuffs on your more expensive pieces. Here's my 1963 Chronograph on my wrist this morning. The 12 hour bezel has been extremely handy in helping me track the time in another continent!!
Incoming!! Perfect companion to my Omega Seamaster PO GMT “Oreo”(I’m also fortunate I’ve acclimated my wrist to the PO GMT for the last two years because this watch is a monster.
Here’s some perspective on size of my new Seamaster 300m Pro Chono(I realized after posting this short little comparison, that this may not be best place for this exercise so please excuse my excitement). Getting a bit of a holiday feeling despite lockdown: with the Seamaster Apnea in front of the surfboard on the wall.
