I purchased this watch new in 2000 after lusting for one for for probably more than twelve years after seeing the ads in Thoroughbred and Classic Cars. It was my everyday watch for a numbers of years until the hand fell off, obviously requiring a service. In 2014 I took it to the guy in Australia who used to service my Speedmasters and he would not touch it due to the unique design of the movement.
Finally I have it back from service this week and it is on my wrist proper after what I think is at least ten years
Thanks
