Here's what we managed to snag last night in between bands of clouds here in the Chicago suburbs. Underexposed a bit shows the planets and rings better.
But overexposed shows Jupiter's moon's more like we saw them. We were also able to discern Saturn's Titan, but it do not come through here (taken the very amateurish way of holding my phone over the eye piece).
Our simple setup: Old Nexstar 8 GPS (so old its GPS week has done the 19.6 year "rollover" which messes up the date and tracker...sort of a mini Y2K problem with older GPS systems)
