After a solid week of cloudy evenings, had a few minutes to spot the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in a single view with my old 8" Celestron. Sticking the phone over the eyepiece as the clouds rolled in, this was the best I could do.

Wearing what else!

After a day of nothing but bad news, thought I'd wear a recently acquired Bulova 'D' around the house this afternoon to cheer myself up:

I prefer to be shoveling snow around Christmas time. It's no fun without it. Just my humble take.

I agree, if it could snow everywhere but on the roads I’d complain a lot less. It’s just that digging out for work that gets me. It will also be nice to see a white Christmas this year, the “81 and sunny” does annoy me anyway
