Been a chores weekend. Simple pleasure of the tough yet elegant Marlin reissue.

Wore this today whilst on a 12km stroll in the hills near our home

I was happy to keep a nearly 5km/h pace while carrying 8kg on my back and ascending 400m as well -- not bad for an old guy :)

    Have similar . . .

. . . in black. Not on my wrist today; it's sorely in need of a watchmaker's attention.

I am always surprised by how nice red straps go with yellow gold watches, I need to buy a few more for my wife's gold watches and maybe even some for mine too.

This. I’ve had it for almost 3 weeks. I’m still honeymooning with it.

Thanks. Bracelet is a 19mm generic vintage double grain. I've seen some similar branded Seiko as well.

I have quite a few modern Seiko's but really I prefer 60's vintage, TBH I became a little disillusioned when I discovered that it's cheaper to replace the movement than to do a service in the likes of the Seiko 5's and similar so I prefer different Seiko calibers than the mass produced cookie cutter moderns.

My only wishlist Seiko would be an auto KS Spring Drive sport watch.
