·Haven't worn this in literally years, bought it back in the 80's, at the time my narrowed down purchasing selection was either an Omega seamaster or a speedy or this Seiko ..........BUZZZZZ.....oops that was a fail, bad call. Never mind I wore this Seiko every day for close on 10 years and it never let me down and always looked cool.
In all the years I have owned it there has always been a battery in it so I guess almost 40 years of continuous operation and still fully functional ( and still looking cool) says a lot for Seiko credibility.
Would I do it again and buy this Quartz Seiko ? NO, I would buy the Omega, but really the most relevant question is do I regret buying it and the answer stays the same, no, it's been a great practical time keeper for me and as stated I like how it looks.
