New watch addition to the Home For Wayward Watches. A non-running gift from a friend who was cleaning out a relative's house in preparation to sell it. Sent it for rehab and it's now ticking merrily. Seems like I've seen this model Bulova on a Forum member wrist in WRUW on occasion. I'm guessing late 1940s. If anyone knows the era, model, or movement in this one I'd be grateful for the information. Been absent from Forum fun of late with much going on. Spent two days last weekend re-roofing our lake cabin. Took three days away for a 42nd anniversary outing with Mrs. noelekal. Just yesterday evening we received the sobering news that my almost 94 year old dad in the local nursing home has contracted COVID. It's anguishing not to be able to visit and attend to him here at the end of his life.
Damned radium... don't you be walkin around with your hands in your pockets with that on, you'll drop a nut.
Yesterday, but that was the last time I had a watch on the wrist. Working from home has its downside. Do you wear your watch at the "home office"? 1967 Grand Seiko 57GS (9991 case variant)
Great thing about working from home is that you can switch from watch to watch as many times as you like.
