Still enjoying my mid-60s Gruen manual wind, day/date. Not a combination that pops up very often. This one has the Gruen 512 CD, 17-jewel movement in it. This watch was pretty crummy looking after reposing in a drawer of scrap watches for about 45 years. It has had next to no wear, and has been serviced only once......by me, last week. New armoured crystal, new crown, gasket, thorough service, and it is an excellent runner, and quite accurate.
