·My dear Grandmother is turning 91 today. So, I am wearing the watch (Raketa) in her honour. She passed this watch to me when I bought her something more modern. Thanks to this watchiwatch, I started to appreciate mechanical watches and eventually fell in love with watch collecting.

·This is the watch that did it for me. It was my dad's watch. I remember it distinctly because it had one of those expanding bands that REALLY grabbed the hairs on your wrist...I think they were like pre-Speidel...
I got it from my brother about a year ago...changed out the bracelet...remember my dad every time I strap it on.
