Black dog, black strap. Not too exciting.

I do like it. It is my only modern watch. It has a bit of a vintage vibe, but In some ways it feels quite modern. Although it is only 38mm, I would say the size and weight is comparable to my Speedy. The applied markers and sapphire crystal with the blue AR coating seem very modern. The little polished links on the bracelet also give it a modern flair.

Overall, I like the size, the movement is quite accurate, and the water resistance is more than sufficient for anything I will be doing with it.

thankdy! I noticed the watch a few months, and it has been on the radar... Amongst too many others as well!

Did you get the sapphire back too?

The previous version had two options 100m rating with sapphire back, or 200m with steel back. There is no choice of caseback on the latest. All of them have sapphire backs, but are rated now 200m. I think you get a lot of watch for the money. To me it is very comparable to many small brands that cost $200-$300 more and come with a lower spec-ed Miyota movement.

I haven't felt like posting since the wildfire smoke settled here in the Pacific Northwest. Wearing my Seiko Presage Urushi Byakudan-nuri to recollect our 'Babymoon' to Japan last year during happier and easier times as a pick-me-up!

    What about this “fake quartz”?

Anyone else here with the same watch?

My watch habits are bleeding into photography. Trying out the Nikon "long nose" 50mm lens. Serious value for under $50.
