I started out neutral on the strap (based on pictures alone). I like NATO straps, so figured this would be a comfortable fit and since I loved the watch itself, the strap was pretty much a non-factor to me. When I saw the watch and wore it in the AD, I hated the strap
. It was very stiff, and the length was just a little to long not to fold over, and a little to short to fold over cleanly. It was really annoying. I actually walked away thinking this may not be the watch for me after all (it was depressing). When the AD got their first 45th in for sale, I went back and tried again. I had just seen someone post a picture on TRF of this watch with the X-33 titanium bracelet and loved that look, so I figured, WTF, I will just get the titanium bracelet with the watch, and eat Ramen noodles for a year
The titanium bracelet will take a few weeks to arrive so I'm wearing the strap, and to my amazement, I actually love the strap now, and I'm almost reconsidering the bracelet.... The strap is really high quality, no question about that. The buckle being titanium is cool, plus its starting to loosen up. I've found by pulling it tighter than I normally wear a strap, it fits better, and still is comfortable, plus it gives me added length to fold the extra bit over and tuck it in (I have a 7.25" wrist). The thickness of the strap is about 3.7mm, so double that under the watch makes it sit up just a bit on the wrist.

So, I give the strap an B+ grade and will definitely alternate it with the bracelet depending on my mood
