The way you set up your pictures in the billiard theme with the vintage watches makes me think of how the seaside bars on various islands in the Philippines would have been in the 40's thru the 60's. Of course more dimly lit. These bars would have been populated by all kinds of foreigners and adventurers from around the world wearing what are now the vintage watches we love. These bars were popular with soldiers on leave for some R&R, mercenaries, CIA, and many other assorted characters. I can almost see a black and white image of Humphrey Bogart lining up a shot at a table with a cigarette hanging from his mouth and an old Hamilton on his wrist.
The seaside bars are still all there along with the same types of characters, but now in color and wearing mostly modern watches. 馃榿

. . . with yours truly manning the pool cue and the jukebox. The lady walking in at the end to congratulate me was outside smoking a cigarette. That's as close as I can get to materializing your fantasy!
