Oooof, whoever said watches are solid long term
investments is a possible crack head. crack was good in '87, especially here in the Bronx.
$4900 USD in 1987 is roughly 13,500, today. Box, papers, receipt...under a G.

LouS says it's a buy and hold now an he's my Guru ( like 100 times watch smarter and 50 times regular smarter than me. I'm wearing this to a business meeting tonight along with vineyard vines shirt ! Let's see if she brings some luck! Thank you for looking; these are pretty watches...

PolyWatched this recently acquired Omega 26.5 cal. watch today and it now looks nice. Just a little corrosion on the minute hand and a few tiny spots on the dial. The crystal appears a bit yellowed and not sure if that is just aging of the acrylic or aging of the dial (or both)? Wearing it today to see if it till keeps good time.

Before the Polywatching....

(disclaimer - this is not a polyWatch ad)

how I attached that third picture above is a total mystery to me....... it demonstrates my fabulous computer skills and the reason I should stick with manually wound analogue time pieces
